This is one of my favorite tracks from Tech. It sucks that he was forced into this position to begin with, but being one that can understand going there, it’s nice to see when someone else does something like this. You feel less…apart.

This song is exactly what it says. Through out it are several names mentioned, but I did this one slightly  different than what you would expect. I kept thinking about how people talk about how their songs are so hot, and that combined with the idea of throwing a lot of these girls together in one song gave birth to this.

I’m working on songs for a couple albums I’m planning, and one has finally been put together (I’m creating the mp3 file right now actually). It’s going to go on Deconstruction, unless my other plan that’s festering in my head comes to light. It’s possible, but it depends on how much material I can put together for it in about 6 – 8 months. It’s a project that would be better done sooner, rather than later.

Besides Deconstruction, I am working on ideas for a mix tape featuring instrumentals from one of the producers I use. I’m not sure which one yet, but I am about 90% on the one I’m leaning toward. I’ve used a lot of his beats over the last few years and it only seems fitting. However, Deconstruction will feature a plethora of music behind it as all of the previous albums have.

Lately I’ve been putting off the rants due to lack of time. I have one sitting here completely written, but I need to do the vocal version of it. If I can find the time, I’ll throw it all together and get it up here. For some reason, people like hearing me yell and sound crazy about stupid things.

I checked this out a few minutes ago and was very impressed with how this went. The song itself isn’t a diss song, but clearly this guy could hold his own. I’m looking forward to what’s next from Rush.

The album is complete. It’s a dual disc featuring 27 tracks. Several have already been made available via Soundclick, Reverbnation and MySpace. However, many have never been heard. Needless was just completed last week (also called I Pray for the Death of Elisa Baker) while others have been sitting in the digital shelf for a while, waiting to be released.

The album features a lot of movie cuts and references from the film The Man from Earth. It’s a movie that hit me by surprise, and features some very compelling dialog. It was a perfect match. It can be seen on Netflix, but you can also find it at Amazon.com.

The theme of the album is obvious. I have an issue with religion. I have an issue with the idea that God can not be expected to physically manifest and say or do anything, and that people seem to be fine with that. Apparently, this is a being that can do any and all things, but can only communicate with you through mythical mind voices and fairy tales perpetrated as fact.

The album isn’t completely focused on this concept, as it does have other songs on it such as Bodycast and Dragon, which are the full throttle stomp you in the face songs expected from me(Dragon being very much in the same vein as Incinerator from the album ORIGINATION). It also has a couple songs on it which come out of left field. Work is my irritation with my own job and the stupidity that ensues as a technical support rep, while Butterflies and Rainbows was made for my wife and has the most ridiculous chorus ever created. Work also has a short sample cut at the end of it that just shows her and I discussing what she needed to say, to which she then calls me a shithead really loud and jokes that I should put that at the end. I did.

Next week, I will release 1 which has been sitting on the shelf for a while now. It was waiting for next Friday for obvious reasons (well, obvious if you look at the date and the title), but also had to come after THE MIND OF GOD. It will feature the final Paris track, as I’m getting tired of going after her all the time. Expect the most bizarre ending to this saga which has spanned across several songs, all to eventually be collected into an album soon being called “THAT DARN PARIS”, with a Leave it to Beaver type of theme to it. That’s what happens when late nights combine with strange ideas.
